CSCS Certification

The Construction Skills Certification Scheme is the new safety standard that has been set within our industry. The standard has been approved by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) and the Government and was made mandatory in June 2008.

The CSCS card is a means of ensuring that everyone has Health and Safety training to the same standard reducing risk of injury on site.

In early 2007 Newlife made a conscious effort to address the issue of site safety and implemented a robust system, ensuring that all site operatives undertake assessment and certification, before gaining site access.

This allows our clients peace of mind when selecting a contractor to undertake a final builders clean or sparkle clean.

We are committed to the scheme and as one of the first contractors to adopt the CITB’s recommendations, we now support clients in there implementation there of.
